Mitch Pegg

MS, LPC

Mitch is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both West Virginia and Pennsylvania. He completed a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at California University of Pennsylvania. Mitch’s professional experience includes anxiety, depression, trauma, substance and process addictions, grief and loss, interpersonal relationships and stage of life crises.

Mitch utilizes an existential approach while incorporating modalities of cognitive behavioral therapy such as ACT, DBT and REBT. Over the past 10 years, he has worked in outpatient and inpatient roles and most recently as a therapist for the WVU student population and athletic programs. Mitch believes in creating a comfortable and supportive atmosphere where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings as they discover who they are, who they want to be and the quality of life they wish to have. He enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, sharing experiences with loved ones and spending as much time on the golf course as possible!
