Kaety is a licensed independent clinical social worker who obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from West Virginia University. She has prior experience in outpatient community mental health and prefers to work with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, or relational concerns. Kaety’s theoretical approach to therapy is humanistic, believing that the therapeutic space should be individualized and holistic. She incorporates into her practice Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
